How will I benefit from the services?

The program can help you make new friends, perform better in school or at work, get along better with your family and friends, improve the way you feel any time you become sad or nervous and help you find other programs near your home that can assist you with finding a job or paying your bills.

Who provides the services?

These services are offered by public or private MHR agencies, throughout the State of Louisiana, and funded by Medicaid. You decide which agency will provide services to you and your family.

In the MHR program, you will be part of a team which includes social workers, counselors, community support workers, nurses and psychiatrists. It is important that everyone work as a team to provide the best help available to you and your child.
